At Demand the Limits, encouraging the safety of our community has always been a huge priority. That’s why we were thrilled to have the opportunity to sponsor the PBSO (Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office) Targeted Violence Unit Golf Scramble.
First and foremost, we want to extend a huge thank you to PBSO for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful initiative. Their dedication to raising awareness on Targeted Violence in Palm Beach County is a movement DTL had to get behind.
The charity scramble, held on September 4th, was not only a day filled with networking and friendly competition but also an opportunity to come together for a great cause.
From a PBSO representative: “This year, all proceeds derived from donations, golf fees, raffles, & sponsorships will be donated to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). We had a great turn out last year with over $14,000 in proceeds donated to local mental health providers. With your help we look forward to increasing the donation number and give more back to our community.”
As a firm deeply committed to serving our community, sponsoring events like this allows us to align our values with action. Beyond just being part of such a fun day, we’re proud to know that our sponsorship helped raise funds for mental illness and against violence in our area.
Building on the success of this year’s event, the firm is eager to continue our partnership with @pbcountysheriff. Demand the Limits Personal Injury Attorneys already has a sponsorship set in place for the Charlotte Hans Softball Challenge in support of families in Palm Beach County who are going through or have recently gone through a life altering illness or a catastrophic injury.
To everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, or supported the PBSO Targeted Violence Unit Golf Scramble, your commitment to making a difference is what make events like this possible, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a special community.
